Simple & Powerful

Therapeutic Massage

Helps relieve pain, reduce stress, and work on a specific problem. It doesn’t always have to be deep tissue to help relieve pain.

Deep Tissue

A type of massage that mainly treats musculoskeletal issues like strains and sports injuries. It involves applying sustained pressure using slow, deep strokes to target the inner layers of your muscles and connective tissues.

Swedish Massage

The most common type of Massage you can get. This type of Massage involves actions like percussion, kneading, vibration, tapping, and rolling. Massage oil or lotion is used to protect the skin from friction.

Cupping

It helps with pain, increases blood flow, helps with inflammation, and can be used as a type of deep tissue massage. It can cause mild discomfort and petechia bruises. Cupping creates a suction to pull blood into the skin as well as underlying toxins and cellular waste. Cupping also pulls the underlying connective tissue upwards, which can help reduce adhesions.

Instrument assisted soft tissue mobilization (IASTM)

Also known as scraping, uses special instruments to help break up adhesions and scar tissue that can restrict range of motion, causing discomfort and pain. Many associate this with a more aggressive treatment used in physical therapy known as Graston’s. IASTM techniques do not have to be aggressive to affect the soft tissue positively. Usually, this can be done with very minimal to no petechia (bruising). These techniques can help reduce pain and adhesions and increase circulation.

PNF

Proprioceptive Neuromuscular Facilitation (PNF) is a stretching technique used to help with range of motion and muscle elasticity.

MVA (Motor Vehicle Accident) Massage

This requires a doctor’s prescription with diagnosis codes. You will also need to have an open PIP claim. Call our office for more information.

Pregnancy massage

Massage during pregnancy is beneficial. It can help alleviate back pain, reduce anxiety and stress, help with insomnia, improve overall mood, and reduce labor pain during childbirth.
