Dear Client, please read the updated policies below as you will be required to sign before your appointment.



Appointments and Cancellations

 

*To book an appointment a credit/debit card will be requested to keep on file to charge for missed appointments and late cancellations.*



        Please remember to cancel or reschedule your appointment at least 24 hours in advance. Cancellations and reschedules will be subject to a cancellation fee if NOT RECEIVED WITHIN THE 24 HOUR TIME PERIOD. No shows will be charged the full amount for the missed appointment. The charge will be billed directly to the patient and not to the insurance. This is necessary because a time commitment is made to you and is held exclusively for you. We value your business and ask that you respect our time. 

       Any cancellation made with less than 24-hour notice will be charged a cancellation fee of $50 ($30 for a half hour). Clients who miss their appointment without giving prior notification will be charged in full for the service they had scheduled. When you miss your appointment not only does the therapist lose your business, but we are no longer able to fill the appointment slot.

       The standard meeting time for a massage is 60 minutes. It is up to you, however, to determine the length of time of your session. This should be done when you schedule your appointment. We offer 30-minute or 90-minute massages, along with the standard 60-minute massage. To book a 30-minute or 90-minute massage you will have to call the office as you can't book them online like the 60-minute massage. Massage Therapy Sessions are designed for your maximum comfort and to get the best therapeutic results. You will be undressed to the level of your comfort, and professionally draped at all times. We will communicate as needed to follow the best course during each session. It is best to relax and enjoy the session! 

       Please be on time to your scheduled appointments. If you are late, the session will still end at the allotted time. You will still be responsible for the full amount of the scheduled session. If we are billing insurance, that means you will be responsible to pay for the time that you were late.

       All sessions require a credit/debit card to schedule your appointment. The only time you will be billed is for a late cancellation, no show, and/or at the time of service. You are not required to pay with the card on file at the time of service, you will be able choose your method of payment (cash, card, or gift certificate).


       You can cancel or reschedule an appointment by calling or texting 503-396-1236, emailing us at heather@heathercarvermassage.com, or logging into the patient portal. The patient portal can be reached by going to heathercarvermassage.com and clicking on existing client.

       If you need to contact me between sessions, please leave a message on my voicemail. I am often not immediately available; however, I will attempt to return your call within 24 hours. You can also send me a text message if you’re comfortable talking that way. If a true emergency arises, please call 911 or any local emergency room.
